DORE SCHARY AWARD
The Dore Schary Award was established to honor the memory of Dore Schary, a film producer and long-serving National Chairman of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Each year, the ADL bestows the Dore Schary Award on a student-produced film or video that is consistent with the ADL’s mission to combat prejudice and intolerance and to promote respect for diversity and equal treatment of all people. The producers of Tak forAlt—Laura Bialis, Broderick Fox, and Sarah Levy-were awarded the 2000 Dore Schary Award for their work. For more information on the Dore Schary Award, including a list of past award winners and annual nominees, consult the Anti-Defamation League’s Dore Schary web site at http://www.adl.org/main _dore_Schary.asp.
