CAREER HISTORY
Holocaust
Memorial Resource and Education Center (1995): Executive Director
responsible for all administration, funding, public relations, and
educational activities.
The
Bionetics Corporation (1989 - 1994): Developed proposals to bid on
government contracts. Managed projects for contracts resulting from successful
competitions. Other duties included Contract Manager and final Director
of NASA Langley Research Center's Visitor Center.
United
States Air Force (1967 - 1989): Research Psychologist; leadership
roles in research, teaching, and administration. Retired at the rank of
Lieutenant Colonel.

WORK
Holocaust
Education Foundation, Inc. (1995-present): Created the organization
and established an award-winning Holocaust Teacher Resource Center web
site on the Internet. Both new and experienced teachers have praised the
site as a valuable resource for them.
Holocaust Commission, United Jewish Community of the Virginia Peninsula
(1998-present) Coordinates activities of all agencies involved with Holocaust
education on the Peninsula.
Holocaust Commission, United Jewish Federation of Tidewater (1998-present)
Active participation in all Tidewater Holocaust educational programs.
Co-chair for teacher award program (1998-present).
Board of Directors Holocaust Education Foundation, Inc. (1996-present);
President (1996-present) Rodef Sholom Temple (1987 - 1994) United Jewish
Community of the Virginia Peninsula (1987 - 1991) National Conference
on Soviet Jewry (1988 - 1990)
Ritual Committee for Rodef Sholom Temple (Chairman 1991-1995 and
1998-2000) Chair of committee to establish ritual policies and procedures.
Soviet Jewry Committee (1982 - 1992); Chairman (1984 - 1992) Fulfilled
primary mission - keep the issue of Soviet Jewry in the news. Arranged
for television interviews with program speakers. Worked with media to
provide front page stories and photographs.
Soviet Resettlement Committee (1989 - 1994); Chairman (1989 - 1991)
First Chairman of the committee. Initiated process to resettle families
from the Ukraine and Lithuania.
Community Relations Council (1984 - 1991) Participated in activities
for Jewish and non-Jewish community including: Soviet Jewry, Holocaust,
and separation of church/state.
